Thadd and Melissa live in Cincinnati, OH and have been married for nearly two decades. We love travel, trying new things, and alcohol (responsibly, of course).
Thadd loves the movie Cocktail and that fueled his love of bartending which set him on his course of being a bartender and writer for Examiner as the National Cocktails Examiner. Through his column and later his blog, Mr. Bitters, he explored mixology, home-brewing and home bars.
Melissa just likes drinking. She’s game to try all kinds of liquor and cocktails, everything except wine. She enjoys being the guinea pig for Thadd’s mixology experiments and keeping Thadd in line.
